Under
Development
Throughout saltref.com the "under development" phrase , the "programmer at work"
caution sign, and graph paper background are
used to designate areas that are not a finished work product or areas reserved for
some future use.
Fast
Tracking
saltref.com is being developed using a "fast track" method of development.
In fast tracking design and development overlap. To get saltref.com up and
running as quickly as possible web pages, views, and formats are being put into
place before many graphical issues, interfaces and design schemes (such as
colors) are finalized.
Active Web
saltref.com is being developed on-line as a working www
site. saltref.com is
not registered with any of the search engines (such as Yahoo
or Google) nor has it been set up for key-word searches,
however, many search engines "crawl the web" looking for sites and
Google has already found saltref.com. If you
have found saltref.com through a web search or word of mouth, you are welcome to
look around. I ask for your patience. As pages and sections are
developed they are published to the site hourly/daily/weekly.
Planned Projects
The
short term goal is to get saltref.com functioning and cleaned up to a point
where it can be shown to people and possibly registered with the web search
engines. I am not actively trying to load information or link to the
world, this will happen in some future phase. To help me plan for saltref.com and keep you entertained I
have added this page of planned projects. Projects generally fall into one
of 5 categories.
 - Critical. This
project is absolutely imperative to the life or use of saltref.com.
 - Important. This
project is important to the use or understanding of saltref.com.
 - Necessary.
This project must be completed, at some point, but does not impair the use
of saltref.com.
 - Beneficial. This
project would be helpful to the use or understanding of saltref.com.
 - Aesthetic. This
project would be nice or fun, but does not affect the use or
understanding of saltref.com.
